A bit over a month ago, I had the pleasure to hang out with Sarah Grueneberg – chef at Spiaggia – and shoot some images for a new Food Network pilot called Beat Bobby Flay.
The show is pretty fun, and for those of you who like to see the super stars chefs lose for a change, this is the show for you.
Not to ruin the show, but the whole idea is to bring amazing chefs from around the country to beat Bobby Flay with a recipe of their choice.
For the background of each visiting chef, they wanted to do still photos showing the chef in their “world”. I was lucky to be chosen to work with Sarah. It was a Saturday – crazy busy day in the restaurant world – but Sarah was so gracious and fun! We took our time doing a crazy amount of shots for 2 seconds in the show itself. Nothing against Bobby, but just hanging out with Sarah for the day I already wanted her to win!
